SAFETY Act stands aP.A.R.T.
In 2008, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget performed an evaluation of the Office of SAFETY Act Implementation (OSAI), using its Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART). OSAI earned a score of Effective, the highest rating a program can achieve. The rating indicates how well a program is performing, so you can see how effectively your tax dollars are being spent. According to OMB, programs rated Effective set ambitious goals, achieve results, are well-managed and improve efficiency. OSAI was one of only 10 programs in DHS to receive a score of Effective (61 DHS programs were evaluated). For more information about our score, see ExpectMore.gov
