This is the 1st Lucado
book I have read and I was not certain what to expect. Many of the
reviews I read appeared to be from ministers and that lent a certain
perspective to what the reader might find.
In under 250 pages,
Lucado addresses many of the issues and feelings that most people deal
with by the time they reach their mid-30s and continue through the
balance of their lives in one form or another.
Topics of God,
the "why me" scenarios, the internal struggles on churches, the
challenges of relationships that succeed or fail, children, the question
of "is this all there is?" and is there anything after living and
working are all discussed in plain language, contrasting views and the
urging of the reader to feel, pray and think for themselves.
In reading this, one can see why ministers of whatever faith consider this a solid resource.
This is an insightful book - well done, Max. I will look for some of your other works
