The recent death of Whitney Houston brought to mind one of the less pleasant aspects of life in the hospitality industry; people die in hotel rooms around the world on a daily basis. Deaths in hotels are usually not news worthy as it is more typically a business traveler who dies of a heart attack or similar medical condition in the hotel room bed or bathroom.
