CEO Outlook 2012
Dec 10, 2011
-
If fear and loathing were any more palpable, American CEOs would be suffocating in their own apprehensions right now. Security Awareness Reminder
Dec 2, 2011
-
| Security Awareness Reminder On May 1st 2011, President Obama announced the capture and death of Osama Bin Laden. Due to these events our status has increased to situational awareness. The alert is not unique to the hotel and resort areas and the increase in awareness is a precaution taken by tourist venues all across the world.
In light of recent world events that can impact tourism, I am referring the “No Reservations: Suspicious Behavior in Hotels" video put out by DHLS. This is a good opportunity to share this video with all of your associates. The lodging video is less than 10 minutes long and is shown in English and Spanish. |

Companies' Approach to Information Security is Failing
Dec 2, 2011
-
Technology, media and telecom companies (TMT) are generally holding steady as compared to the prior year on their information security activities, budgets, governance, and reporting.
Yet the threats to Information Technology (IT) security are on the rise and the impact of security incidents are ever more significant. TMT organizations are not coping with the evolving environment: More than half (52 percent) of respondents to the DTTL study indicate that their security expenditures are either falling behind or catching up to what is expected.

This is why social media marketers should not be ignoring Google+
Nov 29, 2011
-
What do the actual companies think of one another? While analysts, press and other interested third party critics have definitely had their chance to preach both their eulogies and praise for each of the networks, the two competing platforms themselves also have more than a bit to say on the subject. For example, it’s nearly impossible to get through any current-day interview with Zuckerberg or some Google-elite without hearing that same question, “Will Google+ ever overtake Facebook?”
