Given that these lawsuits often involve deceased or significantly impaired individuals and highly complex medical scenarios- where numerous experts are enlisted to battle one another- they can drag on for years and be very costly to defend. As can be expected, exorbitantly high medical bills, costly life care plans, and other economic damages are often claimed.
